The Haunted Library is located in Fenwright Manor, just behind those pocket doors in the foyer. Don't you just love the smell of old books? Actually it's just a how- to index

Light up eyes

These are my light up eyes for my skull mask. I had always wanted to do
lights inside the mask, as part of my ongoing haunted house project. A simple diagram can be found here:

Behind the scenes of CREEPSHOW

Now some of you may not like horror movies at all, but there is some interesting behind the scenes footage of how a movie is made.  Most of the skills you need or already have are being used.   I watch this footage now and again to study casting and sculpting.   I happen to be a fan of the movie CREEPSHOW , and the special effects were done by Tom Savini and his assistant.  The footage has been saved to a playlist which can be viewed here

The Haunted Dining Room

In my old house, the front door was in the dining room, as it was with trailer houses from the 1960's.   This presented a unique opportunity every Halloween, but was not realized until 1998.   The dining room had a buffet with china cabinets above it, and a chandelier.  It had "Victorian haunted house" written all over it.  From 1998 to 2005, I would put dim blue lighting up, move some old looking "props" around,  and use the cotton spiderwebs to maximum effect.   Until I can find more pictures, these three are the best I could find.

This is from 2001

2005

and under "show lighting" from 2004
